Awards

SKAIL has instituted various awards to give due recognition to students’ endeavors in various academic fields. The awardees will be selected on the basis of the recommendations of the Faculty Committee and will be felicitated and awarded on the SKAIL Day which is on 30th day of June, every year or on such date as may be decided by the Director.

BEST STUDENT AWARD

The award shall be given to the best graduating student on the basis of all-round performance.

BEST STUDENT ADVOCATE AWARD

The award shall be given to a graduating student on the basis of performance in various moot court programmes and competitions.

BEST STUDENT ACADEMIC AWARD

The award shall be given to a student each year for best law article, research paper, law review, case comment etc. The emphasis shall be given on the originality of thought, analytical reasoning and recommendations for law reform.

MERIT AWARD

The award shall be given to a student for obtaining highest aggregate marks in the end-semester examinations in each semester.
